This week we continue our look at advanced upgrades to your bidding system. After Responder bids Stayman, most expert partnerships use some version of a Baze structure to show a variety of different raises of partner’s suit. Here we look at a further improvement on Baze that I play with many of my expert partners — Carmichael - Baze (named for its inventor, Tom Carmichael).
For those of you who are always searching for better gadgets, this is a good upgrade.
